The Do-17 "JD" is a fictional aircraft appearing in Gunship Battle: Second War.

Overview[]

The Do-17 "JD" is a light bomber that is rewarded to pilots that log into the game for seven consecutive days in a row. It can attack ground targets at a low altitude, and then escape interception by enemy fighters with its rapid climb rate, but if the time came where it was intercepted by allied fighters, it would be able to defend itself with its turrets. It also had a nickname called "The flying pencil."

Weapons[]

The primary weapon of the plane is a default 15mm anti-aircraft gun that is mounted in the cockpit on the left window pane. The gun fires normal 15mm rounds, explosive rounds, and armor penetrating uranium rounds, it also has a fuselage mounted turret, and three guns in one turret behind the cockpit. It has bombs, guided missiles. The gun can be used on any type of target, while the bombs guided missiles are best used on ground targets. The cost of upgrading the weapons varies per level.

Equipment[]

The Do-17 is equipped with a radar, a booster and a weapons reload system timing decrease by default, but can be exchanged for more powerful variants of this equipment for varying prices.

Performance[]

Its weapons are average performing, but its turn rate is worse than the other bombers in the game, and its top speed is only slower than the other Do-17. There is no way to not obtain this plane, unless you miss a day of logging into the game.
